My Apologies
Sorry for not updating this site more than I have. We have had a lot of irons in the fire. Just bear with us and we will be back up and running soon!
Some questions have been asked how I came up with the phrase "Where the Red and Gruene Meet" well if you are really into the Texas Music scene you know where Gruene Texas is or at least heard of it. The Red I speak of can be taken two ways. It could be the Red River, the border between Texas and the Yankee territory north of Texas. But originally I meant it to be as in Red Dirt which is prominent in Oklahoma, where the country music scene is very similar to Texas Music. Thus Texas / Red Dirt Music Scene. Hope that explains it you you.
The Red Dirt genre has also been referred to as "alt Country" by some critics. But one thing for sure Lone Star Music, Oklahoma Sound, Americana, whatever you cal it just sounds better when you hear it live at Gruene Hall!
I thought this was cool. Found a site from Switzerland that reviews Texas Music. You should really check it out.

We now have a searchable database of Texas Music concert dates up and I feel we have the bugs worked out of it. You search for concerts by band, date, venue, city or state. The results can then be sorted by clicking on the column titles.
